Hey everybody! My name is Jessie. I'm 16 and have been in love with beardies since I was a little girl. Due to financial issues (and the fact my mom hates anything scally) I could never get one. Until this year. I finally got a job, allowing me to buy my first bearded dragon! With out further ado I give you ROUGE!

I rescued her from a very poorly cared for petsmart. She was in a 10 gallon tank with woodchip bedding, and they only fed her like 5 large crickets once a week. It was awful!!!!!!! It was love at first sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I took her home. She was a little fire cracker. She didn't have one second of relocation stress and she warmed up to me on like the third day. She's currently sleeping on my shoulder. I've had her for two months now and I couldn't be happier!!

Rogues the same way. I see all these adorable pictures where the beardie is posing. I couldn't get her to do that to safe my life.

I took Rogue outside again today. It was a little cold so she didn't do very much. But I got a couple of cute pictures.

This is my little 'sister' Rissa. Rogue decided to climb onto her head when she was laying down. When she sat up she had a lizard on her head. :lol:

She WAS eating the clovers and she stopped as soon as she saw the camera!

I gave Rogue a bath tonight. She hated it just as much as usual. She spent the whole time trying to climb the edge of the tub (without success). :roll: Then afterwards I wrapped her up in her towel and laid her on my lap for cuddles. Here's a cute pic of her in her burrito.

Lol, yea they are! Me too, there so cute! This is the first time I've gotten Rogue to stay in one though. I was so happy!! And she slept on her bed again last night. I think she's finally getting used to it.

There's nothing to do today! So I'm just going to talk randomly. I'm sitting on the couch playing video games and watch Code Lyoko. Rogue is being unusually lazy and napping on her basking rock. I just ran out of fresh crickets, so I'm trying (without success) to get her to eat dried ones. They're cheeper and last longer than live ones. Too bad she won't eat them, but then again I don't blame her. I wouldn't touch them either :lol: I spend a lot of money on food, it's crazy! I also tried this canned fruit mix stuff... it smelled like strawberries. Normally that would have been fine, but she doesn't like strawberries either. Picky picky picky! It's about time to take her to the vet... but I'm having a hard time finding a good exotic pet vet in my area. Does anyone know of a good one in the Syracuse NY area? How much does a normal check up usuay cost? I'm oly 16 so money is kind of hard to come by. Especialy since I don't start work until next week. I got a job at Wendy's... I hate fast food though, it's gross. I just measured Rogue and she is 10 and a half inches long! She's growing so fast!

Vash is lazy today as well so don't feel bad if Rogue is lazy as well, some dragons

Yeah, but being my age there is really nothing left other than grocery stores. Thanks, I just need a check up to make sure she has no parasites or anything like that. And lazyness is really odd for Rogue, I've had her for two months and this is only her second lazy day.

Hm, that is weird, a baby shouldn't be lazy...mine is so old no wonder he's lazy everyday is like brumation for him.
You won't have to worry about brumation til she's about 1 year of age.

She normally isn't lazy. That's good I have a while to go, but what exactly is brumation? I here people talk about it all the time.

That is hibernation for lizards.
Like bears and others.
It's just basically us keepers are free
xD Kidding.
We'll get bored while they sleep til
spring. They'll wake up and eat but then
back to bed.

Rogue is a cutie, love all the pictures of her. You are so very pretty and love the pic of you and rogue on your shoulder. Rissa seems to have a growth coming from the top of her head, oh nevermind its a cute little beardie. Somehow I get Geico to pose with objects for pictures, for a long time he would not cooperate but now, its like do this and get it over with lol.
