Hey everybody! My name is Jessie. I'm 16 and have been in love with beardies since I was a little girl. Due to financial issues (and the fact my mom hates anything scally) I could never get one. Until this year. I finally got a job, allowing me to buy my first bearded dragon! With out further ado I give you ROUGE!

I rescued her from a very poorly cared for petsmart. She was in a 10 gallon tank with woodchip bedding, and they only fed her like 5 large crickets once a week. It was awful!!!!!!! It was love at first sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I took her home. She was a little fire cracker. She didn't have one second of relocation stress and she warmed up to me on like the third day. She's currently sleeping on my shoulder. I've had her for two months now and I couldn't be happier!!

try giving her a warm bath, I think the meal worms could easily be causing issues.
I'm kinda new at this beadie thing myself.
but from everything i have read you should stay away from mealworms atleast untill you have an adult bd.
may I ask how much the store was charging for their poorly taken care of dragon?

Hello :D Mealworms are one of those no no things as they do cause impaction. Beardies can be sensitive to change and some will pout when their viv is rearranged. If warm baths and tummy rubs don't work then 2-3 drops of olive oil and should get things moving. (I assume she hasn't messed  ) I'd check out "Beautiful Dragons" They have an amazing color coded food chart. (Kale's a once in a while food  ) Hi little Rogue :D

Thanks for the advice, I only give her mealworms like once a month, maybe I should stop... They gave her to me for 29 dollars on sale, I would have taken her for any price though. There's no way I could leave her there.

Rogue totally has an attitude, so I wouldn't be surprised if she was pouting. I've never heard of giving a beardie olive oil, I'll have to try that. Thank you!

Anytime. Just make sure not to give mineral oil as the safty for BD's is unknown. Also, the BD.Co has very well priced small sized supers if Rogue is craving crunch! :D

I finally got Rogue to sleep in her new hamock! I was so happy! Normally she sleeps in this little hide log so I can never get pictures. But I an okay tonight so I thought I'd share. Sorry about the quality, the red light messes with my camera. :(

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
