Reptisun T5 HO vs T8

Is there a difference between the T5 and the T8 Reptisun 10.0 besides the size of the bulb?

I'm not sure what a T5 or T8 is, but Reptisun 10.0 is the best and strongest UVB of that brand.

The t5 offers a smaller more compact ability. with the t8 u obviously need a t8 fixture both fairly large. The t5 is like one of those tiny little under cabinet fixtures you see. Also saves on engery.

If it's a coil, it's not good for your beardie, the full length tube gives off the best UVB

One thing to add however is that a T5/HO pumps out more light per watt than a T8. So a Reptisun 10.0 T5 is going to output quite a bit more UVB than a 10.0 T8 of similar length.

Im just adding this to help. I ordered this light, http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/ard3rela24fa.html , its am arcadia t8 that outputs 12% opposed to the reptisun 10%, thats also full spectrum. :study:

reptisun probly released the t5 HO to try to compete with arcadia's 12%.
