Repti Sun or Repti glo???

So I have read over 20 threads now half of them say get the REPTi-SUN and the other half say those are bad and get the repti glow.....can someone with experience answer the question as to which is suppose to be better?

The Repti-SUN is the standard recommended by most of the people on these forums. The Repti-GLO used to be very inconsistent with it's UV output so was not recommended for some time, however they are now producing better quality bulbs and should work just as well as the Repti-SUN. Whichever you choose make sure you get the 10.0 full tube style. The 5.0 is not sufficient for most desert animals, and the compact style bulbs are still known to cause problems.

I would recommend repti-sun 10.0 but repti-glo is not as bad as some of the more avid repti-sun users would make it out to be.

I have a Repti Glo 10.0...so how do i know if it's working for her...

she's also getting over an eye infection, but the vet said it was just an infection which could be from her eye lids not shedding properly or something....but i didn't understand that because she shed really well to me
