Redish Skin Discoloration

When bathing my beardie today I noticed a redish Skin Discoloration, different than shedding. I'll post a photo, any ideas would be appreciated.

Are you sure it's not shedding?

You can tell the skin around it is very dull colored while the red area is not. So I'm thinking he's about to shed but that area has already shed. How long have you had her?

I've had him from a baby, about 5 years now. It doesn't look like any shed I've seen on him before. Here's another angle/different lighting.

It honestly didn't look like anything bad.. just cosmetic.

The only thing comparable I had was reddening around my dragon's tail shed, and he shed the next day and the red was gone. You can see it in the middle of his tail in this photo.

Sounds good, I keep my eyes on it and hopefully he will just shed it away. Otherwise he's perfectly healthy. Thanks for the reply!
