What is a good schedule to put a baby beardie on? When do you know he is ready to be picked up we have had him 5days

It all depends on the individual. If he is acting calm, go ahead and pick him up. He may want to jump and roam/explore so be ready for that and don't hold him up too high. If he isn't acting skittish or defensive then he's probably OK with interaction but go slowly and take it easy at first until you build a bond. Sometimes that happens quickly and sometimes it takes months. Just watch his physical cues.

As far as schedule goes, do you mean lighting schedule? Or just timeframe for handling/interaction etc?
