i got him tuesday in the mail.

Those marks are inaccurately called 'Stress Marks' & are very common on happy, healthy youngsters. Don't get me wrong, they can be a sign of stress, but in my experience is not the main or only reason for them appearing, are quite common & generally not a 'Worry' issue at all. Every youngster that I have ever had, has had them at some point or another, if not constantly to some degree, until older.
