Possible tail rot

Here are the pictures in question

Hi it seems my Beardie is losing scales or what I believe to be scales he may just be shedding but I'm worried to death and would like your opinion on this on what my next course of action should be.

It looks like the tail tip may be damaged. It's OK as long as the dark/damaged area doesn't appear to proceed up his tail. Keep a close eye on it. If it starts to just shrivel then the tip may fall off and heal over and that's common. The main concern is infection and preventing possible infection from traveling up his tail. You could use a topical antibiotic like Neosporin without pain reliever or some manuka or raw/unpasteurized honey on the area to help protect it from infection but it doesn't look open so that may not be necessary. I'd take the approach of monitoring it for now but if it appears to spread up the tail I'd bring him to an experienced reptile vet for an exam.

He has had that little link since he was a young lad but when the "scales" come off. Their is no bare skin on the bottom just another set of scales and such but I'm just worried is all

And it's been like this a couple of weeks and hasn't progressed or anything

That's a good sign then. it may just be a crimped tail end. If it isn't changing then it may just remain that way going forward and isn't anything to worry about. My Dundee had a tail tip like that. I'm guessing it was nipped by a tank mate at some point along the line when he was a little guy.
