Position of Reptisun 10

I have a Reptisun 10 light in an overhead hood and want to hook it inside the tank. Is it better to place it with the bulb facing down or towards the front of the tank?

You would definitely want to place it so that the UV rays goes down into the tank. Also make sure that the distance of the light to the beardie while in the basking area, will be 6 to 8 inches.
