If Pookie had only eaten one or even one white and the half transformed one, I probably wouldn't be so surprised. But for him to refuse the first two and then eat the other white ones as if he hadn't eaten in days is just too much for my brain.

Pookie ate 10 wormies and 1 Cheerio this morning!!! And none of the worms were white!

The fat pads on the top of his head are starting to fill back in.

I need to weigh him to see if he'd gained any. He needs to give me a big poop first

In addition to the 10 wormies he had for breakfast, he also ate 3 more white ones for afternoon snack! He probably would've eaten more if I had more to give him
Unfortunately, I couldn't get him to eat any greens though. Maybe today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS Gina, Zim, Pookie, MoMo, Gianna and Spike, hope you have a good day tomorrow. I've been out a good part of the day, then cookies for tomorrow, going to my nephews for the morning, then back for Xmas dinner. Then to my sister's on Saturday. After that I'm home, so will have lots of time for my munchkins.

Leo's doing well, he just wants to snuggle. Taking his meds like a trouper, pooping daily and he finally seems to have gotten all the barium out of his system. He even swam a bit this am. He's very sleepy, so after morning snuggles, bath, etc, I let him sleep. Still haven't got the milk thistle, but not expecting it until next week, hopefully.

I haven't seen Gianna in I couldn't tell you how long. She'd been sleeping deep inside her cave for weeks. MoMo will periodically poke her head out and actually open her eyes for maybe a minute or two, but then back into her cave she goes.
Yesterday morning, as I was waking up a little before 7:30am, I saw that Squirt was sitting in the middle of his house (my bedroom has a clear view of his tank in the hallway). He had crawled out from under his blanket and was fully awake! Of course, I took that opportunity and put him in the bathroom sink for a very long soak. After being put back home, he did manage to stay awake for almost 1.5 hours, but then ended falling asleep again. He didn't even wake up when Pookie walked over for a visit.

I'm glad that Leo is being such a good boy with taking his meds and water therapy. Hope the combination of everything will allow him to heal.

I hope so, too, Gina. Oh well, you almost had another dragon awake with you for awhile. Cierra has made her way back into her hide and is back to sleep. I won't be feeding her any more, it's too difficult to get her to poop while she's brumating. I'm hoping she'll be up soon, though, she's been sleeping on and off since end of August!

That was nice of Pookie to visit Spike, even if he did go back to sleep

Boy, Gianna has really given into it this year. At least MoMo is peeking once in a while. Good that Squirt was awake for a little while, long enough to get a good soak. Pookie is probably hoping he will find one of them awake one of these days.

All 3 of ours are wide awake in the mornings which lasts until noon or 1 pm although Loki doesn't get up until about 10 am then they are all ready for their 3 to 4 hr nap in their beds on their heated mats, covered with their blankies. Although from 9 to about 10:30, the Princess (Angie) prefers to lay in her bed on her heated cornbag listening to a Harry Potter audio CD until her noontime nap starts, then Harry gets turned off so they can all have a quiet long nap. Harry Potter is still a daily routine in the mornings but if I'm not here, Angie listens to most of it in her tank as she likes to sneak away and hide from Josh, she doesn't stay put like she does with me. :roll: Then after their naps, the girls are somewhat awake and then go to bed for the night between 5 and 6 pm after some hugs & kisses of course. Loki walks around for a while and then when he starts to snuggle down somewhere, Josh holds him until his 10:00 bedtime.

Deb, so happy to hear Leo is doing pretty well. Sure sounds like your treatments are helping him.

Mine are up at 6a, then are done by 1-2p for the night. Cierra is still sleeping, sigh, I'm wondering if she'll ever wake up for good.

I know what you mean, Deb. Rosie usually sleeps for a week, maybe 2 before she wakes up for a day or so. This year I lost track of how many weeks she's been asleep, I know it's been longer than a month. We woke her up yesterday and she drank a lot. Rosie ate 4 greens, 2 supers and 2 slices of apples (small ones) She loves the granny Smith apples. Those she ate first with no prompting, even tho they were left over from the day before. It's been a colder season here than normal. Tucson has had several days of what they call 'a hard freeze' That's when the temps get below freezing. They have had low temps close to ours when is unusual. I'm guessing that's why Rosie has not woken up all month (probably more than that). Lil Squirt seems to be getting ready for eggs. I tried to tell her that it's too cold for that. She spend most of this week pooping out small poops, every day, She's been head bobbing every day, several times, and she's already awake and got herself up this morning, which she can be awake for awhile but waits for us to come get her (lazy thing). She (and Rosie) seem to prefer to dig outside when they are laying eggs, but it's too cold to let her go outside , even though she tries to crawl off my shoulder (in the direction of the front door) while I'm sitting in front of the computer. We tell her it's not warm enough for us to be outside, so it's not anywhere near warm enough for her outside but, you know beardies (or dragons as my other half calls them) they want what they want, even if it's not healthy for them.

What would we do without them in our lives? nothing to laugh at!

Diane - It still tickles me that your babies love to listen to Harry Potter. If they could talk, they'd probably be reciting the CD by now

Deb - That's what I used to think with MoMo, too! She used to start brumation around late August and I wouldn't see her at all until early April.

Lori - Lil Squirt is still making eggs?! :shock: I guess she didn't get the memo that she's supposed to be brumating now. It's so strange that you guys are having such cold temps this year, while the East coast is having Spring-like temps.
