On Monday afternoon, Gianna had been sitting in front of the window with her mama when she suddenly jumped down and ran over to Zim's food bowl. She stood in front of the bowl, pondering something, then before I know it, she stood up, grabbed the bowl's rim, and leaned in. I think she ate two pieces before deciding on jumping in. She'd do this whenever she's out and about.

A little before 5:30pm, I decided to take Gianna out of her house and allow her to sit with her Daddy. When I came back upstairs a half hour later, this was what I saw: She crawled closer to her Daddy, placed her hand on his, and had her mouth pressed against his cheek. Yes, I totally bawled.

Love those pictures. She is looking right at her daddy too and look how light his beard his. You'll have to put amazing frames around them. They are just SO special and the love in these pictures is amazing. Yes, made me cry too.

Gianna was so funny with the dog food. :mrgreen: She wouldn't have eaten it if you had offered it to her though, she had to find it on her own lol.

Pookie had slept with me in the bedroom on Wednesday night, and I let him sleep in a little bit Thursday morning. Well, Gianna sat in the front corner of her house and stared at Pookie's house all morning. I finally had to tell her that her daddy's still in bed, that he isn't gone. Despite finally seeing him sitting with me on the couch, she still didn't move from her corner. I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't go back into her cave to sleep, until I asked her if she wanted to sit in front of the window with her daddy. She promptly gave me a :shock: look, which told me that that's what she wanted to do.
Like I said above, she never ran off or moved to the other side. She stayed right where I placed her.
While I was outside with Zim, I kept wondering if Gianna would end up jumping all over Pookie and upsetting him, but my worries were for nothing. Seeing Gianna and Pookie sitting together like that made me more emotional than seeing him with Digi and MoMo. I'm not sure why though.

So true! One time I took 2 different colored morsels out and placed it on the floor in front of her. She looked at it for a second then walked away, but then came back moments later and ate them, as if she found them all by herself. Strange cookie.

Gianna insisted on sitting with her Daddy again yesterday, nearly all day. She sat quietly next to Pookie, in front of the living room window, never once flinching nor fussing. Some time around dinner time, she suddenly ran over to the panda, climbed over it, said a quick hello to her Mama, walked past the windows and across the top of the couch, and jumped down onto the seat. She looked around, contemplating something, then prepared herself for the jump onto the floor. Of course, the first place she ran to was Zim's food bowl, but instead of diving in, she kept looking on the floor for scraps. She even went over to Pookie's ramp area and looked on the area rug for scraps. I have no idea why she was looking for scraps there . . . oh wait, yes I do! A few hours earlier, Zim had decided that he didn't want to wait the half hour for me to come back from the store to give him his evening treats, so he decided to help himself to an entire 25oz bag of Pupperoni Anyhoo, seeing that she was looking for scraps of Pupperoni, I decided to help her out and gave her a morsel of Zim's food, which she snarfed up. I gave her another morsel, and she snarfed that one up as well. Then she was on a mission to go back home.

MoMo loves her Digi!

In each photo, Digi had been away for a long period of time (needed some 'alone' time) and as soon as she was put back home, MoMo promptly snuggled up to her, even if it meant crawling out of the cave or into the one that Digi went into.

I'm just sniffling over here, thinking of Gianna spending the day with her daddy, so sweet. :love5: She's so funny, wanting doggy treats & wasn't Zim a bad boy getting into that treat bag, hope he doesn't have a sore tunny.

The pics of the girls were also so sweet, MoMo just lover her Digi :love10:
