I come home from work today with high hopes of seeing at least one empty dish, but instead I saw two full dishes of salad and worms. Pookie's viv was half turned over and he was sitting in front of the window; Digi was in the same spot that I placed her on this morning. Immediately I started to panic, thinking she may be sick or finally going through relocation stress (or depression).
Being the very well trained slave that I am, I picked up her dish and started fishing for worms. I put the first in front of her and within seconds, she inhaled it! So I fed her another worm and she inhaled that too. Then another, then another, then another, until all of the worms were gone. Yay! Given she ate the worms so well, I decided to try feeding her salad by hand too. Guess what?! Not only did she end up finishing what was in her dish, but she ate another half! Each bite was hand fed, and if I accidentally let go of the leaf before she got a hold of it and it dropped to the floor, she just sat there and stared at it, waiting for me to pick it up.
So, I must ask each and every one of you and your beardie(s) -- WHO TOLD?! Who told my little Digi to not eat by herself and wait for me to hand feed her?!
WHO TOLD?!
