I get most of my rocks from the Morgan-Monroe Forestry, sometimes in Brown county. There are a ton of creeks close to parking areas, so I probably have too many rocks at this point. They're a pain to move.
I actually have a rock that looks like fossilized brain. I have no idea what it really is.
I've found some great basking rocks at those places. My favorite is this big red slate that I found over 10 years ago. It has those wonderful angled edges that dragons love. At one end it angles up from the bottom, giving a place to hide.
A while back I had the idea that it would be really cool if I used river stones as bedding. It looked really cool, but when it came time to clean out the whole tank, it was such a pain. So I took all but a few that they seemed to like out. I keep saying I'm going to make a hide, or a platform or something with the other rocks, but I have yet to get around to it.
