I will be posting new pictures of the girls here from time to time instead of creating a new thread all the time.

Those are some great pics! My panther geckos never come out to play. Of course they are about 1/2 the size of Freckles.

I tell people that those black looking scales which cause them to turn dark are their solar panels. :lol:
They seem to get it then.

Here's another bath pic that shows some color

This was taken right after we got her so her colors have really brightened since then. I have to go meet Mark and go grocery shopping,will try to find a more recent picture later.

I love that picture of Alf in the lilacs, just hanging out and looking around. How high did she go?

Not much higher than in that picture,she seemed very content to hang out in the sun.I can't be outside much because of my meds,but let her hang out there for a while.

YIPEEEEE!!!!!!! Alf is gaining weight!~!!!! We weighed Alf yesterday and she weighs 343 grams,up from 322 at last weigh in!! I am tickled because she has been acting a little off,sometimes eating sometimes not,silly girl,she goes through cabin fever about once a week now,wanting to get out to play. Unfortunately,we have had some nasty weather, tornadoes have gone through here like crazy.ripping up trees and tearing out tree limbs,etc....... as well as rain out our ears,my yard is a lake. I haven't been able to get her out much with all the nastyness,power was out from 11:00 PM last night until almost noon today and then from around 5:30 PM until about 7:00PM tonight and now more rain. Am ready if power oges out again.

Hi Sara, that's wonderful that Alf is gaining weight, you must feel better now. :wink: As they get older, I've noticed that some of them prefer to "pig out" every other day or so. I'm sure Barbara can back me up on that.

So sorry to hear about your terrible weather. Hope it clears out, dries out and you can enjoy taking Alf out again. Please keep us updated on how you're doing, hopefully you won't get more damage or lose power again. We're thinking about you..............

I was just wondering...has Alf ever tried to get out of his leash? I have the exact same leash...and heaven forbid I should dare to put it on my highness...black beard and much squirming till he somehow gets in off. Did you have that problem?

Beautiful weather here today ladies!!!!! Sunshine everywhere!!!! Alf is doing weird,she only eats once in a while.She is only semi active,playing when she wants and laying aorund too, Right now I am not overly worried with what you all have said.She eats some days,but not so much on others. If I get worried,I'll make a new post or email.
As for the leash,she squirms out once in a while so I have to watch her,but she does well with it.She has never black bearded when I put it on her or anything like that. Will write more later,am getting ready to head for my MIL. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all bd.org mommy's.

We are still getting rain,but I think the worst has passed!! Alf really enjoyed outside yesterday,it was really warm and she and I sat outside for a whle,then she ate like a little pig,including salad. She now is 17 inches long and 343 grams,up from 322 grams at last weigh in.Stay tuned for more pics coming soon.
