outdoor cage

i hear people talking bout outdoor cages but i dont understand how to build one please and pic and intro

NEVER, build an outdoor cage. there are many reasons for this.
1. if it's glass then it will get too hot and the beardie will by cooked.
2. if its wood, rain and humidity will seep in the cracks, then when winter comes it will freeze and then you have a big crack down the center.
3. and unless you live in the deserts of australia the beardie will probobly die of freezing, or exaustion
4. the beardie will become adventures and try to break free
so remember never, ever, ever, ever, ever, build a cage outside.

P.S. remember no matter what way i die even if there's a suicide note... it was murder

As long as your beardie is supervised, and not left out for long periods of time or overnight, its great for them to get outside every once in a while. Ive never bothered to build a nice outdoor cage, but sometimes I will put them in a plastic storage bin with a secure screen top (make sure the wholes are small enough so that no bugs can get in!) for an hour or so, so they get some natural UVB rays. Just make sure they have some water and shelter while they are out.

dont put them in a plastic tub, it will block the uv rays. go out and buy an iguana leash and let him have sum exersize while catching some rays

Not if you use a screen lid. The UV rays can still get through it... I dont think that they would be getting as much UVB from the sides anyway. My beardies really loved this, and they got plenty of sunlight.
I have a leash too, but Im always paranoid about them eating random buggies!

I spent ages pondering an outdoor playpen for my dragons. I have never looked back, and it works perfectly. The lack of a top means that a crafty dragon can escape...however its not as easy as you would think, as the fabric strip along the top doesn't provide them with grip. My largest dragon made a mad dash up the side and literally launched himself out of it one day. I think he was more surprised then me . There are lots of different ways to create some sort of top, so if the need is there...a little ingenuity can solve the problem. But since I only use this when I am outside with them, I never bothered to cover it.
