New 4x2x2 enclosure advice

New 4x2x2 setup. How is it ? It's a 34 inch T5 Arcadia 12% and a par38 90w with a dimmer. Should I keep the reflector on or off for the uvb?

Looks great! I use the same lighting in my setup. I'd keep the reflector on to make the most of the T5.

Definitely go with the reflector on the t5. It looks as if its more then 12 inches from your beardie. What is your tank made out of? I'm surprised you're able to use a 90 watt bulb and get it low enough with dimmer to be at proper temp. I had to switch to the 38 watt bulb to get mine at decent temp, and brightness. My tank is a 4x2x2 melamine and have just the 24 inch t5. Looking for a reflector to boost my uvb up, and its 12 inches from my basking spot.

Looks great I have a 4x2x2 new viv also , just waiting on my t5 12% prot5 Arcadia kitset to arrive
I have had difficulty sorting basking light for mine and I’m now going to try a Arcadia basking solar flood floodlight 75w when that arrives

Out of curiousity how are you finding the t5 ? Or more importantly how does your dragon find the t5 haha, is he/she more active ? I can’t wait for Marlow’s one to arrive and try it out

I had to go for a 65w the 90w was way to much. And its make out of pcv. And I added the reflector and more climbing options if she wants to get more uvb or less. And yeah she is more active with the arcadia 12% than my reptile 10.0 both are t5

Hello,

It does look very nice & bright in the tank! The only change I would suggest making would be to
move the T5 tube to be directly overhead, using the light fixture/reflector you have. Unless it
already is overhead & I am not looking at it correctly? Is it mounted on the back wall?
