So I was looking in Craigslist... And found this for $50... All of it... What does the LED hood do??? I know what a hygrometer thermometer does I used to use an incubator. Is this fluorescent bulb good too?

Hi,
I'm sorry that no one got back to you sooner. I don't believe that LED hood would be something that would be good for your dragon, I could be wrong, but I wouldn't want to take the chance of hurting my bearded dragons eyes using it. Manufacturers might state on the package that it is safe to use, but that doesn't always mean it is (ie, calci-sand). The Reptisun bulb is not good either. Although it is florescent, it needs to be a long tube bulb, not one like that, sorry. The hygrometer might be useful for you. I am sure others have more information to provide, but I wanted to respond since no one else had yet. I didn't want you buying things that you wouldn't need. I hope I helped!

Yeah I decided against it already. Since I saw a crestie on the box. And saw so many ppl using the tube lights on here. I'm using phoenix sunshine right now. Also my fiance didnt tell me till it was too late that he put a 60w bulb in the fixture.... So I added a fixture with a 60w for more heat. They can go to a cooler side. And I have cotton pillowcases down for comfort. Not sure if I'm doing no no or goods lol
