My Enclosure

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share with you my setup.

I built this all and have collected and cleaned all of my own rocks and sticks. Just wanted to see how you all like it.

I like the layout and the look of the tile all around. Looks like Lenny has a pretty comfortable home =)

Thanks, the tile makes it weigh a ton lol. He has a "hobby" of trying to eat the grout in between hehe.

Do you find the grout and permanent tile difficult to clean? That question comes up fairly often and I don't have an answer because I use loose tiles.

When the poop gets on the grout it is rather hard to get off sometimes. I find that Dawn and a good cloth gets it off though. The rest you can just take of with toilet paper and sanitize.

Thats good to know. I'll be that would be a good job for my little steam cleaner. It puts out a really intense steam about the size of a sharpie which would be able to blast the grout pretty well (in my head anyway).

With a good sealer the grout should (should) be easy to clean. The sealer I used was actually a brush on kind and I'm not sure what it even did really due to it's very low viscosity (like water). I imagine a steam cleaner would work well actually seeing as they are for floors.

Thanks, I didn't really pick the tile I just got the sale stuff, but I did put a lot of time into getting a pattern that worked well with the colors.
