Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up about the sale! Saw your post, checked my local Petco, and yowza 40 gallon breeders for $60. Thanks to you Haku finally has his permanent home.

Should i just get my beardie from petsmart then or just look for a breeder online?

As long as it isn't one solid color. I don't care about the color just friendly. ^^

If you want a baby then I'd stick with a reputable breeder rather than Petsmart as you're more likely to have a healthier dragon in the long run.

A baby will be more work to start and they eat a lot. Adults come with whatever experiences they had before.

You could look into rescues or ads in your area. Or reptile shows. Look at requirements for babies versus adults and make a decision. I got a rescue and she ended up having having abdominal tumor. Then I bought a juvie from someone looking to rehome theirs and she's been fabulous.

Check out Shiro adventures in Beardie Tales. He just got a baby a little while ago and is documenting the day to day life of raising a baby.

What area are you in? There might be some good recommendations from people on the forum.
