My beardie lionel had living pheonix worms in his poop

I could really believe what i was seein...his poop was moving and it was an undigested pheonix worm...hes eaten alot of them lately is this common?

This happened to me once too. If large quantities of the worms are consumed (with an excited beardie scarfing them down without chewing), it can increase the odds of this happening. I currently dole out Phoenix worms one by one and it hasn’t happened to me since. While the worms don’t harm the beardie, it’s still pretty jarring to see an insect exit your animal in the same state it entered your animal.

BSFL are remarkably tough little grubs, it’s common. Feed them slowly so they get chewed or, if you need to, poke them with a needle so they get digested.

Huh, I honestly never knew that could happen. I guess because my baby tends to really prefer greens over insects and worms.
