I would read all the lighting and heating information again in this site. If a baby don't have proper lighting/heat
they will lost interest in eating as their bodies may not be digesting correctly. No harm in checking all your equipment.
Also a bath sometimes would make my Irwin hungry.
Keep us posted!

Hi, thereptilekid!

Like someone else said, if the setup isnt correct, it can affect your Beardie's appetite. If you could answer these questions about your Beardie's setup, that would help greatly!

Are you using UVB?
If so, is your UVB a compact/coil or a tube type?
What is the brand of your UVB bulb?
What are the temps in your tank? (Basking spot & cool side?)
What substrate are you using?
What are you feeding your Beardie?
Do you dust your Beardie's food with calcium and multivitamins?
:D

This is what happened with Sparks. He couldn't get close enough to the light and heat and didn't eat his crickets. So we had to lower the light and heat. I think it stunted his growth because he is a full adult and only 14 inches.

See if he can get close enough to the light.

The coil lights are known to cause issues with bearded dragons... you should be using a linear tube either reptisun10.0 or the arcadia d3 12%. It is actually a good idea to turn the coil off until you get a new light., Misting your beardie is not going to keep him hydrated the way he needs, he should be having a bath about 3x week and more if shedding. They get most of their moisture from the vent area, so let him soak for about 15-20 mins. I would make sure that the crickets are no larger than the space between his eyes. If you can try to get some phoenix worms for him.. and remember the space rule.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
