I have worked for a vet before, and I'm sure they could be chipped. But even if they are, I don't see many people taking a reptile to get scanned for a chip. I mean, people are just getting word that a lot of dogs and cats have chips and you can take them to a shelter or vet to get checked. But to be honest, if I found a reptile in my yard, I would probably not even think to get him checked and would just keep him
