Megaray problems???

I have been having lots of problems with megaray bulbs. On bulb blew out and two other cause my beardie to close his eyes. The current one makes him sleeping and he is beginning to close his eyes too...

Any suggestions???

I would definitely contact the company. They are usually very helpful and will replace the bulb.

T-Rex active uv heat (mvb) and the reptisun 10.0 floresent.

No not the TRex Active,that was part of the recall as well there is a seperate thread on that and although they are supposedly fixed I wouldn't do that until there has been some positive results.Too be safe I would go with the Solar-glo but remember they are only good for 6 mos.TRex does also have a Standard-UV heat MVB bulb that is new that I currently am trying out for the last month or so and it seems to be working out but I do not have any UVB data to seriously back up its quality and I have no idea how long it will last yet either.I would however turn off the Megaray ASAP and let your beardie sit under a regular heat lamp for at least a week before replacing UVB.You should contact Megaray as they are giving out repaired replacements but just so you know the fix is a thick coating and it is restricting the amount of heat the bulb gives out so additional heating will be needed.
