Beardie freezing up?

Sometimes my beardie will be in his basking spot sitting, and I’ll go over to feed him some greens or other food, and he’ll just not respond. I’ll pet him, put a mustard green leaf up to his mouth, wave my hand in front of his eyes, and he just won’t respond. This lasts a minute or two and eventually he’ll respond. Is he daydreaming about catching a bug? Asleep with his eyes open?
Is this normal beardie behavior?

Sometimes that happens. It could be normal mine does that too sometimes where she isn't interested in her food. He could also be stubborn.

I agree with Hazel. He's probably just in "super-energy-safer-mode" because he's not interested. Mine does that too sometimes
