Hi, welcome to the forum! Your babies are very cute! :D

Just a few things I thought I might mention. They don't live together, do they? And, I'm sure you've heard it before, just want to warn you about your substrates. Both sand and pellets are classified as loose substrates, and while this is debatable, there is no question about the fact that loose substrates can cause impaction, so many, along with me, believe it should be avoided. I mean, why put you pets at risk when you don't have to? Better choices would be any sort of solid substrate, such as: tiles, non adhesive shelf liners, basically anything that is solid, and easy to clean.

Wish you all the best with your babies, let us know how you go! Feel free to ask lots of questions, and more photos are always welcome! :)

No, they don't live together. They haven't even seen each other since Max is still a baby. He's about 4 months old. I actually did a lot of reading, last night, about the sand. I'm going today to get reptile carpet to replace it. I know people do it successfully, but I'd sleep better at night if I remove it. I was told by the store that as long as it is calcium sand it will be fine. When I got home I started to checking up on it and I read differently! I feed Max out of his terrarium and haven't had a problem with it, I'll replace the pellets when I upgrade his home.

One question I have, though, is can someone tell me their routine for feeding their adult beardie? I'm used to feeding a juvenile and I know it's slightly different. I've been told varying things about the frequency of feeding and I need some clarification.

Thanks in advance!

Babies are to be fed 80% proteins and 20% veggies. When they mature, they are flip-flopped. 80% veggies and 20% proteins. So they should only be given insects/protein a couple times a week. Some people even do once a week or every other week. But, fresh veggies should be provided daily. Hope that cleared it up a little bit. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
