Looking like a female!!? Need some opinions

At this point it looks like a possible male. It may show better with pics where you hold the tail like that but twist it very slightly to the side, or just post another couple of pics in a month or so.

So when they are young they can look like a male and then really be a female when they grow a little bit and so on!?

It's more common for them to look possibly female but then things develop a bit more + it ends up being a male. But sometimes on a small/young there are small tendons + muscles that look like there is something to indicate that it's male but end up not being the hemipenes, and that's made more clear when it gets a little bigger or when the tail is held in just the right way. It can be tricky when they are young. :?

He doesn't need a vet at all , and many vets can't tell themselves. Just post a few more pics, with the tail arched high but twisted very slightly to the side , or post a few more pics next month. A month can make a big difference.

Yes I was hoping it was a girl! I was told it was female but wasn’t sure!

Looks very much like a male to me. I'm 99% it's a male, the only reason I'm not 100% is because I'll get yelled at if I say I'm sure it's a male at his age...but he's a male!!!

EDIT: Just an FYI, it usually doesn't work the opposite way, when they are little and they look to be female they can actually end up being a male (my 6 month old looked like a female until just 2 months ago, now he's nothing but male), but when they are young and look like a male, they usually are a male....sorry, I didn't read that you wanted a female before I posted, lol...he's definitely a male though...
