I’m excited to see how my new baby isopods’ colours develop! After all, this is my calico/lava/translucent colony, they’ll be beuts!

I was considering starting a colony, but honestly with work and 5 beardies i just don't have the time to take on any more projects.

Yeah, I understand where you’re coming from. With work and uni I’m pretty busy, thankfully I find colonies pretty low maintenance.

All I do is most them a couple times per week and offer some food, they and the cleanup crew I added (springtails) do the rest.

Oh, good luck! If you really want to commit, dairy cows are a good starter morph (they breed like crazy) but you could go the cheaper path and get some wild caught.
