Jiffy's beardies, Someone New!** pg 42

I do not have a thread for all of my boys day to day adventures.
I will start one here. I have bunches of pictures and cuteness, but dont want to overload anyone, so I will add stuff along.

Waffle just turned 4 on April 2nd. I have had him since he was about 6 weeks old.
Sweet boy, laid back, doesnt like to eat half the time. And he hates my boyfriend Butch! :lol:

Foster is my Craigslist beardie. I had not been looking for another beardie, but saw an add on Craigslist that said looking for a home for 3 legged baby bearded dragon. Well, that was all it took.
He will be 3 on June 16th. I have had him since he was almost 6 weeks old. He likes to eat, and head bob and black beard, and just lay around being bright orange!

Brady is my newest baby, and was my 2009 Valentines Day Present. He was in a local petstore, he was missing an arm, had no uv light, barely being fed, very tiny, in nasty conditions. I tried for 2 months to get the store to give him to me, or sell him to me. They said they were keeping him as a pet. Finally my boyfriend got him for me for Valentines Day. I think he is a bit more persuasive than I am! :wink:
He turned 1 on August 1st.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone.
I do miss the grumpy ole boy and his funny mouth. We picked up his ashes from the vet yesterday.
The one good thing is I have sanitized Duckies viv and put Brady in there, and Brady is LOVING it. He has been running and climbing and playing and eating. He has really helped to lighten my heart.

I'm so pleased that Brady is enjoying his new viv, enough to help you brighten your day. It's always hard to say goodbye, I understand, having said goodbuy to Issy & Angel spring 2010. If I didn't have the rest of my dragons to make me busy, it would have been worse. You have great memories of Duckie, they'll help you get through it all, too.

Thanks Miss T. She did a wonderful job on them. THey made me cry, but them seeing the ones with his tongue stuck out made me laugh and remember good times. She always had a fondness for Duckie and she wanted to make those for him. I was so honored that she wanted to do it.

LOL, thanks. Unfortunately it was his mean personality trying to show thru in the second one, he was trying to bite. He was always a bitey little fellow. But I loved him all the same, and miss him so much. I know you know how I feel with missing him. I still cant believe that your Kazi man is gone either. I am sure they are running around beardie heaven and trying to be the boss of everyone! And Roger is loving on them just the same.

I definitely understand. I still look for Kazi in his viv. Just yesterday I got home from my mums and when I walked in I immediately thought 'what is wrong with Kazi's lights?'
I believe he sent me the new baby though... I can already see Kazi's spirit shining through in him!

It takes awhile before we remember all the time that they are not physically here anymore. I still try to feed RD special treats that only she appreciated...but then I realize/remember she's not there.
I don't like eating my plums alone...it was much more enjoyable to share them with her.

It's great that Brady is doing his best to cheer you up.

Hi Jennifer,
I still can't get over that great shot of Duckie biting, you can see all the way down his throat! The memorial collages are beautiful, what a great thing to make for you. I know how you feel, it'll just take time. I found having other animals to care for helped me through the grief.

I can relate, I ended up moving Flame into RD's larger viv(with prime location) when she passed .
He so loving the upgrade ...it does help to see him so happy!
He was looking like a china doll in a china cabinet. :roll: Poor guy made that 55gal look small. :lol:
