Meet our friend Penny I'm not sure if she's a he yet :wink: we are enjoying having her around! She turns really orange in the natural sunlight. What type of dragon is she?

It's hard to regulate the pooping habits of the little ones. Eventually you can use regular bath times to get her to poop on more of a schedule and in a much easier to clean up spot.

You could try morning baths, but with the little ones they sometimes go more than once a day so it's no guarantee.

Can any one identify the type of dragon I have? Leather back? I've been comparing pictures but it's hard to tell as they can change so much as they grow

She looks like a standard dragon to me.

She looks like a charming little normal. Leatherbacks have varrying degrees of smooth, but generally they lack the little spikes (tubercles) on the back. She looks like she has a regular texture in those pictures.

Thank you again cooper dragon and also tater bug! I went to the pet store I got her at today to get more crickets and saw her siblings I also took a picture of her mom who is named Myrtle

It's really cool that you're able to see the mom and siblings! She doesn't look too pleased about something. Look at that black beard!

It's really pretty cool They even told me her date of birth which happens to be my husbands birthday 10/11/14. Myrtle the mother doesn't always have her beard on but almost looks pissy whenever I see her ... They have a male in with her now he was behind her parading. Quite a sight
