As weird as it may be both of my babies slept like that and yes it is OK..

It's fine, and normal. My adult still sleeps like that sometimes.

mine tucks itself underneath the paper towel in 1 corner of my viv... even though there are 2 hides in the viv as well >.>. Wasted money haha

Looks like too hot to me or trying to get out of the light(IR). Got something on that side of the tank to give a shady spot?
