That sounds like a cross to me. The head bobbing is usually the males way of showing aggression/domination and the arm waving is usually their way of saying "I'm harmless, I won't hurt you."
Is this one the only one you have? or are their other beardies he/she can see?

Welcome! We are glad to have you here. It's good you do it on you mom's computer. It's good that she knows where you go on the web as this site is child friendly but some aren't, besides, she needs to know how to care for your beardie as much as you do. I would like to see pics of your beardie if you can. To post pics, you need to use a photo hosting site, I use Photobucket. You down load the pics to photobucket then use the bottom 'img' code to post them here.

I know my girls have puffed up their bodies from time to time when they are in water that they think is too deep for them even if it isn't.

There are other photo hosting sites. I just use photobucket because it was suggested on here and it's the only one I know of.

first, go to photobucket, roll you mouse over the pic (my laptop shows it as a hand) a list pops up underneath the pic (sometimes over it if the pic is on the bottom of the screen) you left click on the bottom choice, the 'img' code then come to your post a reply screen and right click then roll your mouse over 'paste' then left click on it. A code will pop up here but to see what will post when you hit submit first hit the preview button on the bottom of the 'post a reply screen'. Your post will show up above the white space where you type your response. Once it's the way you want it, click 'submit' then every thing will show up in your thread, or any other thread you reply to.

Here's a pic of our new girl on my hand, called Lil Squirt at the moment, so you can see how it looks.

Puffing up in water can also be because they're shedding their tummy. They expand their bodies and float (sometimes to the point they tip over, so keep a close eye on him!) so water can get in between their scales and in the small cracks in their shed-ready parts. Then when you take them out, they make a weird hissing noise as they release the air in small increments. Sometimes it takes an hour or so for them to get back to normal size, but within a day or two their whole tummy and back will shed in large pieces. Richard has done this twice, although some never do it at all.

You can right-click on the photos in your Mom's Facebook and post them here, you know! :) Just click on the IMG button above the new post. You see how a pair of code tags appear? Right-click with your mouse on the photos on your mom's facebook (just one at a time per pair of img tags), then choose 'Copy Image Location'. When you get back to here, move the blinking cursor to between the two img tags that appeared and press these two buttons on your keyboard at the same time: CTL (Control) and the letter P. This will paste the web address of the photo between the two img tags. The tags tell the website that this is an image. Then, when you submit the post, you should see the image -- and so should all of us! :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
