Is my bearded dragon okay?

My bearded dragon nose recently changed colors just in this one spot. Does anyone know why and is this normal?

I thought that too! Just never seen him shed just a little area like that. So just to take precaution I just asked on here!

it seems the older they get, the patchier their sheds get. my guy's last shed was just the sides of his face.

Hello,

Wow that is a terrific orange color, with some pre-shed skin ready to shed soon.
As they get older, they don't usually shed as evenly as when they were youngsters.
