Is he beginning to shed?

The past 2 days, Kadaj's head has looked dull, brown and ashy whereas the rest of him is very very vivid. The skin does not look loose or anything so is he still preparing to shed?

It sounds like it. The shed in parts and when about to shed the skin goes dull in color and can sometimes feel waxy.

Yeah his head does feel a little waxy, thanks! I am doing my best so he can grow big, healthy and strong!

I apologize to everyone for my late replies. This past week has brought many hard times. Good news is Kadaj has shed all the skin off of his head and throat. Hes still cranky but in a better mood now. Best of all his head is a vivid yellow!

I'm sorry to hear you've had a rough week. I'm glad Kadaj is making headway with the shed though! Can you post a pic of his vivid yellow head?
