How old is she? Could be just brumation. I wish mine owuld snap out of their brumations soon *sigh* I build nice new enclsoures last fall and they have looked empty since late october. All they do is hide in a corner under some fake plants and sleep. They are never out during the day and never eat but this is normal .. their stomachs should be empty while they "hibernate" to avoid it going back in their stomachs and causing problems. Type "brumation" in the search and you'll get lots of good advice. Mine honestly to not look as though they have lost any weight at all, I soak them in the tub once a week for 20min each to prevent dehydration and then put them under their heat lights to warm back up. I offer food but they usually ignore it and after a few hrs of warming they crawl back to their beds and continue their sleeping. Some nap on and off and are generally inactive .. some sleep constantly like mine. If you read up on it you won't be as worried, just have to be patient and wait it out. If they were in good health prior to this then they should be fine, if not then maybe get them checked out.

mine does the same thing...she is roughly a year old. in october *when i switched her hours to match the hours of light WE get* she started to eat less and stay under her hide/basking spot almost all day. shes fine, doesnt poo as much as she did before but thats the only thing that i can see thats different. (also less expensive :)) anyway-i always assumed it was brumation.
she just slowed down...but let me tell you! lol after she gets a bath she will run and zoom all over her cage until her light goes off...then its under her hide to cuddle with florence *her stuffed frog* and its back to being lazy the next morning.
i really wouldnt worry about it right now *assuming youre in the winter months where you live* i was always told that they slow down when its cooler and also when they get older. from the time lilly was 6 months old till about 9 months old she would run everywhere...i couldnt hold her because she would run away and hide under my tv stand lol but now at a little over a year old she lays and watches tv with me for a while everynight before bed...soooooo i dont think theres anything to worry about :) a little lazyness never really hurt anyone :)

Like I said I can't wait for mine to snap out of it, they all do it on their own time, some don't brumate at all, some for a few weeks and mine have been sleeping pretty much non stop since Oct. And yes the feeding bill has gone to ZERO lol I pull them out of their boxes every sat for a 20min bath .. I offerd food, the female may eat a bite but not much and the male never eats ... so they also never poop. I got an order of 1000 superworms in oct and was going to place another order in early Dec so I'd have some through the Christmas holidays but thank goodness I didnt cuz I still have LOTS of the Oct order, I didn't realize how loooong they live for! After a bath my female will run across the front of her cage like she wants out .. I'll let her out for a bit but when she goes back she warms up and within a day they are both back in the boxes, my male doesnt even do that much. Some people say their dragons are so sleepy they have to hold them when they give them baths because they won't even hold themselves up. Kind of a loooong boring stage :(

Mine are the same age a LOVE their hide boxes. Put the box in the cool end, they are trying to get away from the light, cool down and sleep. They will slow their systems right down so they don't require food and shouldn't lose more then a few grams of weight in this whole time. Bath him/her once a week to avoid dehydration (water only needs to be deep enough to cover their vent). I live in Canada so our winters are long and daylight hrs are short, the sun is finally starting to stay up longer so I'm hoping mine will wake up soon! :| There is a TON of good info about brumation on these forums.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
