I lost my beardie!!!!!

I left him on my bed and in 5 minutes he was gone. That was at 7:30 this morning though and I think he's still in my room upstairs but I can't find him anywhere. What should I do?

Close your door and look around the room where he fell. (Melody usually falls off my bed and she'll sit there, looking around before running around if I let her.) He's bound to be in there. If not and you don't have carpet, listen for his claws.

look in all the dark small spaces with a flashlight.

if there is a small hole that he can squeeze into look there.

Still no sign of where he is. I've closed the door and I haven't heard claws. I looked everywhere in my room.

Oh no! Ok are you sure you checked eveywhere around the room. If so he/she may be lost inside your home. Did you leave the door open for awhile? My friend told me a story of there friend who lost their lizard for a few days and then happened to come across it it was luck but you may just happen to come across yours I hope you do. I'm so sorry. Look in your house in every place he may be under and hiding its kind of hard to help you when I'm just talking to you though this computer. You'll probably will find him/her unless she/he got outside. I hope not :? Just be cautious and be looking everywhere. In the morning he/ she will probably be looking for a good heat source so in the morning if not found already look for a nice spot for basking if there is one I mean its winter. Hope you find you beardie

Well we all make mistakes but be more careful when you find him/her because I can almost guarantee you will find your beardie

A few other people have posted about this issue - one person thought their beardie was in the ducts! Most of them get hungry/cold/bored eventually, and come looking for their human slaves. Good places to check would be shoes, boxes, under furniture, under radiators (if you have them), in closets, next to computers, on top of cable boxes/other warm appliances...

Do you have anything on the ground the can hurt your beardie like sharp objects or crumbs of food your beardie should not eat, etc. if so pick it up things like that could kill your beardie

it is nerve racking. I feel so stressed! My room has been turned upside looking for my little angel, Chubbs. He seems to be nowhere at all.

Good luck on the hunt for your beardie. Mine always ends up in my pillow case when he goes to hide.

When I left my beardies at a friend's after the hurricane, Mr Dargon escaped from his temporary home.
They found him that night in a pile of dirty laundry.

Try putting food in the middle of the floor to draw him out.
If you keep crickets in a see through container put in on the floor to see if he gets hungry enough to try to get to them.
Tasty Treat always tries to get to the worms or beetles.

I've checked my pillows twice, but no sign of him still in my bed. He's harder to find because he's only 6 months old or so. I'll put some kale in my room and see if he finds it.
