i hate the postal service

my dubias are 2 hours away as of 6am,and they wont be here till tmrw..... how does it take a full day for my package to get 2 hours to my city.

I HATE them. This is ****ing disgusting, I ordered a Bearded Dragon, it came this morning the right time right? I unboxed him, the Beardie was DEAD. **** UPS.

We just called the breeder, she was so upset she was crying, and it was her favorite one. I know it was UPS' fault because when the guy was bringing him to the door he was like running and shaking the box so violently..they obviously dont read the "live reptile". :'(

I really hate going to the PO! >.< So here we are...again....same old same old....my dubia got shipped out on the 29th, it's now the 1st....and the PO is telling me that they are still in NY (were the package was sent from) and they would be here in a few days....I know gosh darn well it does not take more than 3 days to get here....why do they keep jerking me around?!? >.< /sigh Okay...done ranting for now. Sorry guys!

I was so mad yesterday because I had ordered some reptiworms and had them held at the post office. I went to the mail box and there were my worms with the words hold at post office written all over it!

Luckly it has been rainly here so the temp has not gotten to bad and the worms were alive. If this happened half a month ago then all the worms would have been cooked!

I feel you guys on this one. whenever I get a package my mailman reverses his route so instead of being here at 10am he gets here at 4pm, leaving my insects on his truck in the sun all day, and then they have to sit on my porch cuz me and my hubby work second shift.
Plus my last package (THANK GOD it wasn't feeders) he crammed into our mail slot crushing the box. luckily it was only a video game, had it been feeders they would all be dead.
So from now on I have to request all of my pacakges be sent in boxes that are too big to be smooshed to fit into a mail slot, and request that they write in giant letters perishable live feeders on each box, and then hope to run into my mailman to educate him on not destroying peoples things, and educate him that all my packages are normally expensive live food.

You do realize that the entire north east just got rocked by a hurricane? Highways are collapsed and there is a ton of flooding everywhere.

Yes, but what I was told by the sender, her PO, everybody.....is that it would be fine. Everything would be on schedule.

It's impossible for them to know if there will be delays, what normally takes an hour to navigate through New Jersey now takes 7 hours. Sometimes packages just miss their transfer by a few minutes and this alone will cause a somewhat significant delay.

see, this is garbage, how does a package, from the same sender on the the same day to somewhere farther west of me get there on time, but my package is lost in limbo. if all the packages she was sending out were getting delayed, i would believe this, but due to our history with the local post office, and the fact that others who had packages sent out the same day as me, got theirs on time. either my po is full of a bunch of lazy slack jawed monkeys, or the truck was hijacked in transit, either way you slice it, 3 days from new york to texas is madness, even counding for the hurricane, it should have left new york by now. the bottom line is, my roaches are gonna get here, more than likely dead, and ill have to wait for a replacement shipment, and ill have to deal with the retards at my local post office again. this happens to us every time, 1 time is a mistake, 5-6 times in a row is someone not doing their job.

I would freaking break his neck if I would see him handling the package like that, and if on top of that I'd find a dead beardie in there he would be going home in a body bag!!! They act like they are illiterate! How can you not read the label that spans the entire package?!?!?!?!
They (UPS) would be returning my every cent, dumb a** good for nothing

There's is no excuse for their behavior! They know how to take your money for additional "services" like next day delivery, live animals, this side up and all that crap, but they seem to not know how to read a freaking label!!
This drives me nuts!
