HIYA EVERYONE! Lol i havent done it yet im just wondering if its ok to wake them up when theere asleep. Im also wondering if hes in the cave should I lift it up and pick him or what.

I have done this before,and it looks at me like "what do you think your doing?"but other than that it doesnt seem to bother her.Mine bit me alot at first,and it really didnt hurt at all.As said previously,dont let it win by biting,I just held it,and it warmed up to it eventually.Also,how long ago did you get it,if it was just 2-5 days ago it could be suffering from relocation stress.

Another thing I do that might help, is i reach in there and pet them several times a day. Between feeding, cleaning, misting and checking temps, my hand is in there with them all the time. I interact with them in some way every time. Another idea is trying hand feeding their favorite treat.

I've never been bitten by a beardie before, but I've received many iguana bites. I don't imagine it's much different. It only stings a bit. It's like a bad papercut.

when i got max he was scared of me because he was use to the other people and he was with another beardie but what i did was i picked him up inside his cage every daya few times a day that way he would associate my smell with me,,plus whenever he did i would give him a super worm so he knew i came with treats ..and well it been 5 months and we are best friends now it just takes time

i tried earlier on today but he just kept running then when i tried to put some bits of bread in his bowl he puffed his chin at me. :roll:
