I’m so confused about uvb bulbs

MegaRay (bought online) is the best MVB. Arcadia 12% T5HO with reflecting fixture is the go to for fluorescents. Ive used them both before. My 2 cents and opinion

In most enclosures I'd say the 22'' (24'' fixture) T5 Arcadia 12% is the best option. It provides a nice wide spread of UVB over the basking area and provides excellent UVB exposure at around 12'' from the bulb. The MegaRay MVBs are good but have a very narrow intense beam. I prefer to use those as travel bulbs and for portable basking spots around the house (I have two of them).

Hello,

Feel free to post pictures of your tank setup, so we can see how light placement will look, so we
can take a look at what type of bulb would be best utilized in your tank.
The T5 tube bulbs are very good & have high UVB output. They are best combined with a nice,
light, or a MVB light.
