how long everday do your ecommend having your beardie out of their vivs?

There is no time limit as long as you and he are comfortable. Make sure he has plenty of basking time after eating though, so he can digest.

Im weary of taking him out for more than a few min...Mines is still very young and needs allll the uv he can get...Before bedtime i like to take him out for a little while but during the day and after feedings he just has to be basking.

Just make sure they get the 1.5 hours basking before eating 1.5 hours basking after eating and they are good to go! Gives them time to get their UVB and digest Chimera is out almost all day he eats 2 big meals now 1 in the morning and one in the evening but he snacks on veggies all day here and there. Hes our dog lol

Oh yes i guess it also might depend on age Chimera is 6 months not sure about the little ones.

I tend to let Spyro out for as long as I can keep an eye on him. I'll give him a nice bath first (for hydration and to make sure he doesn't poop all over the place ) and then he'll have the run of the place. He normally has a run around and explore and then he'll come and climb on my shoulder and go to sleep. As long as I know where he is and that he's not going to get trapped or hurt I don't worry about times. As long as he's happy!
