All I can tell you is what my beardie is doing right now. He is 7 inches long and for breakfast he ate 15 small crickets. I will offer him more in a little bit. So, basically I'm experimenting today. I think you feed until they slow down and stop eating. I'll see approx how many that will be at the end of the day. Good luck!

it really hard to try to age them from the length that they might be since there is a lot to their growth with the husbandry they are recieving. Also, it really is difficult to say how much you should be feeding your beardie... standard of care is to feed as much as they want in a 15 min time period, each beardie will eat a different amount, they will slow down when they get full. here is a great site regarding nutrition http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html . Make sure you are offering a "salad" daily to him.

Everyones right, its hard to tell how old they are bc theres so many circumstances. Id say hes probly no older than 4 months. Possibly 5 but no more. He should be eating at least 8-10 small crickets 2-3 times a day dusted with calcium powder one feeding per day and vitamins once a week.

Babies and Juvies need all the protein they can get and that is a lot. Mine ate between 50 and 80 daily at that age and my friends (hes a piggy) ate around 120 a day.

So unfortunately the 10-15 minute rule is how it should be done 2-3 times a day. Every day. The amounts can average anywhere between 50 and 100 crickets PER DAY.
