Harness troubles

Does anyone have any advice on getting my dragon used to his new harness. He absolutely hates it, and struggles like crazy to get it off. I don't want him to start to hate me.

unless the harness is hurting him in any way (usually not, they just act all dramatic) they just have to get used to it.

put the harness on for a few minutes at a time, extending it each time, before taking him outside in it.

give him a treat after you get it on him.

eventually he will associate the harness with going outside and will stop struggling. but it won't happen over night.

Get rid of the excess fabric... it's way too chunky and would have to be annoying for a new beardie. You'd be better off having one that is thin and fits snugly so he won't notice it as much.
