Deb (OFF TOPIC)they are going to induce Shasta's labor tomorrow (Sept 6th) at 6:30am.....
FINALLY I get to meet Marlee Fawn.   Side note: I was an adopted child and the only thing I have to cling onto is my middle name which was never changed and is the middle name I gave my daughter. My bio father was American Indian can not remember what tribe I was told long ago.
Just a bit of history of where Fawn comes from cuz it's odd. LOL
BTW...Deb, Tom isn't the only one impatient...I'm not just impatient but fully stressed out because I would have like to have his girl picked out first off. (If you remember he was able to find my girl by 4 weeks of age or less) I'm just having so much of an issue sexing these babies and I know that Tom's baby just like the one I recieved from Tom(Roux) needs to be female. It's one thing if you miss sex a beardie to the general public...which I'd still be totally imbarrassed, but to wrongfully sex a beardie to another breeder...out of the question.
Don't worry
Tristan I told Shasta she couldn't go in labor anywhere between 3:30pm and 4:45pm. LOL Because I would have to leave her to ship #4...he's going out tomorrow if I have to start walkin' and hitch hiking your way.
Tom #13 is one of those mystery dragons. :?:  First female...then maybe male...then no, female....then no, I'm not sure....
I am so frustrated
with this clutch when it comes to sexing. I seriously am having so much trouble sexing so many of these beardies that I am embarrassed
and totally stressed out. ***Picture me pulling out my hair*** At times I just want to cry. I have determined the sex on several of them only to look a week later and they look different. I figure that if I determine male then that's what it is...right? An if it questionable it is not positive. This is why I never posted a forsale thread...or even had Brian update my site...how can I sell it for a recoverable amount if I can not sex it? If the males would quite hiding their hemi's I could get through this...:laughing6:
Let me see if I can get the right angle and lighting in a pic to show you and see what you think #13.
Can I ask??? Are leatherback genes harder to sex than normal beardies? I'm so utterly confused and frustrated. I feel like a lame...@.. know what?
I have normally in the past been able to tell the sex within 6 weeks though there were a couple that did take longer. I have only been wrong once in all those 8 years(pat on back) and that was my first year of breeding and it was a freebee beardie to an inlaw and they really didn't care if it was male or female...so all was good.
Tom the only female LB hypo that I am close to being confident about is #1. I don't think I have anymore female leathers let alone female hypo leathers. ***biting fingernails*** I told you I had nightmares about this.
I really need to talk to you when you have time(PM'ing you my #).
Thank-you
Tonja!
Diane who's amazing?
Josh or
#9? LOL
BTW...do I expect to see Josh join the site or will my updates come from you?
:laughhard:
I'd might as well say this now...to Diane, Josh, Paul, and Tristan...expect a large mess when you open the packages. I'd have the sink cleared and ready for
bathing. LOL
These boogers eat very well an in return are no longer poopers...I'd say they have upgraded....:laughhard:
I'm just saying expect a mess in the box...they lay poops as big as my adults. NO joking!
