Sorry I haven't been on in a bit, I've had two major deaths in my life in the last month and it's been rough.. The pictures of my little PeeWee are precious! I love him/her. I can't wait for snuggle time and play time with him/her. Jeffrey and I are already claiming who he/she will love more. It's going to be me! Haha! When I was looking at the pics of PeeWee I noticed he/she looks sooo much like my girl Sunny that I got from Tom! It's like she could be his/her much larger sister! Hopefully PeeWee continues to grow and get strong for his/her move to Az!

I so feel for you Barbara, we had a heat wave over the weekend up in the upper 90s and I spend the weekend jumping into the shower or bath, hardly went out, wanted to sleep all the time but you know how it is, have to take care of the melting beardies, too. So they got extra baths in the afternoon, just to cool off & alot of balcony time, the floor of the balcony cools off alot when the sun is off it. So it was like that!!! Hate the heat!!!! Then we had a huge thunderstorm on Tues night, started just as I got off the bus, so had to walk 3 long blocks watching this huge storm & getting wet from head to toe, it felt marvelous to be cool again, but I was a bit worried about the lighting, but nothing happened & I got home safe, wet through, but safe. What a show!

Did you get the for sale thread done yet? But the babies you posted here are the ones for sale? I would just love to have one, but just no room. AT least you have 2 forever homes already done with people that we know, so we know they'll have great homes!
Hugs 'n snuggles & try not to melt,
Deb

Hopefully it cools down soon for you Barbara. It got pretty hot up in Ohio for a while, but cooled down significantly for a few days with the storm clouds. I bet the Beardies love the heat, at least as long as there is a nice cool place to rest once and a while. :D I love how spoiled pets are sometimes with their Air-conditioning.

Hey not trying to steal this thread or anything I think you have lovely babies and only wish I had space for one more!!! But how do you tell if they are male or female so early on? I have had a baby for about a month now and it is larger than most of yours, I check under his tail but maybe I don't know what I'm looking for? I try to research it but maybe I'm doing something wrong

There is an article on this site, at the top, that shows what to look for. If a male there are two lumps on the tail above the vent, if a female no lumps, but 1 mo might be a big young to see them. Check out the article, it explains it more thoroughly than here.

No that is what I am saying I have read the articles here and on other sites I am having a hard time telling, as far as to soon to tell I am pretty sure he is older than one month (at least i would think) that is when I got him from the pet store so I would think almost 2 months by now? Shouldn't I be able to tell and is there anything other than the bumps?

I've had 2 babies & I really couldn't tell until they were 4 mo old, almost 5 mo old. Sometimes the male has a different stance, when they face you their arms form more of a U than a V. Until it's older, it's hard to tell by their head, as they have a baby head, not an older head. So just be patient, you'll be able to tell soon enough.

The heatwave has broke...thought I was gonna melt. Wheew!

I have a few things to catch up on around the house and then I will try to post some new pic's...providing computer and PB cooperate.

Wait a minute  I never even posted the last few babies did I?
I'll be back with those for sure...I told you it was hot enough to melt my brain.

Kaleen, I will be messaging or calling you soon... :)
PeeWee was up to 20grams last time weighed and a little eating machine. LOL

Tristan I hope all is going well with you and that your weather is still good I have to go and check now that mine might be doable. :)
When it's super hot my beardies don't like it for long periods out in it. Unless of course it involves a car ride.

Deb, m00nie, and Lori until this clutch I have never had so much difficulty sexing so many...I mean one here or there might have taken 6 or 8 weeks or even more to tell, but this is ridiculous.
However I think I can update some of the questionable ones now...so will also do that in the next post or two.

I am sooooo happy to hear how well PeeWee is doing. Can't wait to see some new photos when you get a chance. That's great your heat wave is over, it's such a pain dealing with.

Hopefully it will continue to cool down a bit for you, but you can never tell with the weather.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
