I had a feeling that #4 would be the one you might have a hard time looking past. :laughing6:
Aren't his colors just stunning? An I am pretty sure he's the one with a white spot on his nose between his eyes.
I have only seen this in my house on one other beardie Ms. Tiggs, but she never had any babies with that mark. :(

I have just begun my day so give me a little while to get some beardie chores out of the way and water my garden before it gets to darn hot then I'll see about posting the rest of the pic's or at least transferring a few of these to a forsale thread.

Yes, he is absolutely amazing looking. I love the colors near the back of his head as well. They look like little jets of flame. I didnt notice the white spot on his nose before, but now that you pointed it out, it looks really unique.

Though I think he might need a good name to match his amazing markings... I'm not very good with names, but I'll see what i can come up with.

Hi Barbara, I have a young friend who has her first dragon, 6 weeks old & she was wondering about average how many crickets she could expect her baby to eat & how often. I told her she would eat as many as she could within 10 min 2-3 x per day, but she wanted an average & I can't remember, it's been 4 years since Rubio was a baby! Any idea? No rush, I know you're busy, I told her I'd forward the info. Thanks & again, those babies are all so beautiful, it's going to be hard to pick for the ones who are goingto have to choose. Sounds like Tristan has chosen, though!

My Sammy is 11 weeks old now and he eats around 25-30 crickets per feeding. So about 50-60 a day now. At 6 weeks (2 weeks after getting him) he was eating around 10-20 per feeding. His appetite picked up steadily after he got use to his new home.

Oh, and don't get me started on phoenix worms. Sammy is apparently a bottomless pit when it comes to worms.

Sammy has been eating really well and growing at a steady pace. Just the other day he went to bed early inside of the tree cave and came out the next morning almost an inch bigger! I was pretty amazed.

Good afternoon Deb :) it really depends on the beardie they are all so different in their eating habits and amounts.
I don't think I have average babies right now.
I have been feeding these little boogers as many as 6 times a day at about 20 to 30 bugs each give or take a feeding.
Once they are big enough to eat a larger bug then they do not need nearly as many.
My larger babies are now not eating as many per day as they can eat the 5week old crickets(3/4 in to 1 in.).

Tristan they do look like little jets of flames. :headbang:
Sounds like Sammy's about on key... ...what size bugs are you feeding now?

I have a few more pic's to post, but PB keeps crashing and freezing on me. :banghead:

Kaleen I weighed and measured PeeWee this morning... just shy of 6 in. and 11g. Woot! :D

Sammy currently eats 1/2 to 5/8 sized crickets. I have a few that have grow past that size and now make obnoxious noises in the 30 Gallon tub I have them in. I'll wait for Sammy to get a little bigger before I feed those ones off. I just put in another order for 1/2 inch crickets to feed off of while my roach colony gets up and running.

It shouldn't take long for your roaches to take off.

I place a small container filled with sand or eco earth in with a piece of screen secured over it in with those large crickets and collect there eggs.
They are easy to hatch just need to keep the temps around 80* to 85* and a good moisture supply.
It's like getting free crickets with ever purchase. :headbang:
Since my adult beardies will not eat the ones that have grown to large for babies.

I'll try out the cricket suggestion and see if I can get a few of the larger crickets to be useful! :D

I'm hoping to give the roaches another month to make sure they are well established and producing lots of babies. Hopefully then I can start swapping out crickets for roaches. I love the roaches so far. No smell, no noise, no escapees, no fuss!

Just curious, what leafy greens are the babies eating at the moment?
Sammy likes to look at his greens but ends up just tossing it around his Viv most of the time. It was pretty funny to watch him snag a piece of mustard greens when he went for a piece of peach. He ate the peach and tossed his head around until the mustard greens flew off to the other side of his Viv. *Take that leafy green thing!*

Tristan, Sammy is funny! I'd love to see a video of that. It made me laugh and I had to share it with Bill and he though it was funny, also.

If I didn't feed my adults by hand, they'd never eat greens or veggies, but I have no problem feeding them their supers, they'd live on them if they could. I so envy beardie owners who's beardies eat salads out of dishes! Mine all ate salads as babies, but not as adults. Usually it's the other way around, but figures that my hard-headed crew would be the opposite of most!

Thanks for the added pics, Barbara, they are so adorable!

And Sammy is so funny, such personality, shaking off those greens!

Silly Sammy!

Currently feeding these items out of the garden:
Mustard greens
Chard
Collards
Cilantro
Argula
Endive
Red mustard greens
Kale ( on occasion)
I also fed butternut squash with all salads and a mix of other veggies.

Thanks Deb! :)
Will see about posting the rest today, but tomorrow is registration day for Richard an I am sure that he has lots for me to do today.

Yeah, Sammy is pretty silly. He only goes to his salad bowl when I'm not looking, but I have caught him in the act a few times. He almost has this guilty look on his face when I catch him picking the fruit out of the salad.

Thanks for the list Barbara. I was hoping to keep to same foods so that the transition to a new home would go smooth. I have a few idea for a name, but I haven't settled on one yet. From one tough choice to the next.

I have a few adult beardies that will only eat their salads when I'm not looking. They are so funny like that!

Tristan I try to give a good variety of veggies to get them use to them before they go to their forever homes.
This way in case an item isn't available in a certain area they will still be okay with what is. :)

A name will come in time...you might want to get to know his personality a bit first.

Well don't expect much out of me for the next few days folks...it's over 100* right now suppose to be 105* and in the next 4 days there's a big chance that 3 of them will be 110*.... Gonna have to wait out the heat wave we are having before I can ship any babies out.
I'm freakin' melting already. :bleick: Yucky!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
