Instead of using the RepCal, can I just go to VitaminShoppe and get powder calcium?

When I bought 500 crix , I didnt have anything to feed them.So I added water and the crix LOVE it. eat it up fast! It has vitamins and minerals and protien, calcium and fiber . Trust me , it works , Kiku stays in a constant shed seems like , from growing! She is thriving beautifully on them. No, I dont dust them , she also eats phoenix worms.
Just a thought. Good Luck !

I would say crush it a bit . maybe put it in a baggie and beat it with something . I wouldnt put it in a blender , then you would have to clean that up , LOL less hassel to do it the baggie way.
I also like the dry kitten food idea. but like I said , I had bought that already and didnt want it to go to waste. She wouldnt touch it , but the circkets LOVE it. Some one said on here ( I read last night) that when you gutload crickets with calcium, they will die faster because they dont molt , but that food has calcium in it , and I had a LOT of molting going on!! They actually started getting TOO big ! So use it with confidence, its working great for me.
