what does that normally mean? gizmo has started a lot of that hear in the last week. seems like he wants out his tank every time I put him back in.

This can be normal behavior most of the time.
Are the temperatures & lighting good, have you double checked to be sure it isn't too hot?
How old is Gizmo?
Do you have other dragons in the house, perhaps a female that he is interested in?

he's right at a year old. temps are good. it's 90 and 77, basking is 102.

They tend to get pretty active at around that age. It's likely hormonal rather than an indication of a problem. I suggest letting him run around and explore a safe area to help burn off some energy. Aside from that there isn't much to do other than to wait the phase out. The length of time this occurs varies.

oh yeah he gets hours of play time out the cage to burn it off. I was just curious if he was having issues
