Really big guy.
And these guys live near our house
They are very friendly and sometimes take bugs from our hands
My daughter really likes lizards and feeds them periodically :)

Cute little buggers ! They seem to have a very wide range and found in other countries if I remember correctly. And give live birth. It's nice that your daughter likes lizards, kids should see the natural world and enjoy the local lizard friends. :)

I love all lizards! Not too long ago I caught a house gecko and it was ADORABLE! (Although like 60% of its head was just eyeball)
We have the Mediterranean house geckos here, they are like that especially as babies. I find them in my garage as babies sometimes as winter is setting in. It's not climate controlled so I catch them and set them up in a 10 gallon tank over the winter and release them once it warms up.

Awwwwwe! What a cutie! Make sure he's all warm and toasty!
That one was from last winter, he's already back in the wild 😜
I haven't seen any yet this year but it's only in the 60's at night. Im guessing I'll start seeing them soon though 🙂

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
Hi everyone, I have a question please. I have a thick branch I got from outside. It has been in freezing temperatures so I know that it is insect free. I took it off the ground and sat it up during a night we got down to 15 so the entire thing would freeze. Well tonight I put white vinegar all over it too cleanse it since it won't fit in my oven. Do I need to rinse with water tomorrow or is it fine left alone dried?
