i'm thinking of slipping some of those into her food dish this evening, are they safe? Canned, rinsed and drained?

I would create a diet base based on the list on that site of what is safe to eat as staple and add the ones that shouldn't be fed everyday to the mix every other week for several days just so she gets varieties...; when you mix that with the staple, you are not giving your bearded a full dose of the bad side effects the food causes. That is how we human eat, too. We don't eat the same thing everyday because we get tire of the same thing every day; that's why it doesn't create problem for us. It only happens when you eat the same thing over and over again for a long time. Even the food deemed safe to eat as staple could cause problems over time if you do not feed other food items listed.

Also, when you offer it, you should mash it up so she can digest it. I don't think they can digest a whole one. I've seen an iguana pooped out a whole bean before...and they are supposed to strict vegetarians.

Yes definitely cut them up and make sure they are small enough and soft enough to eat. We do that with grapes as an occasional treat, skinned and cut up into small pieces. :D

You pretty much want to offer them a little of everything if you can for variety sake... That's the way they should eat. Unfortunately, variety can be hard to achieve in captivity, and therefore, you must supplement the bearded food with multivitamins and calcium supplements. Just follow the guideline on beautifuldragon website. It makes perfect sense to me.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
