I found a water fountain, and had a dog pen, my dragons have taken it over for the summer. They love sitting in the sun soaking up rays, and being able to cool off and swim in their fountain.

WOW!! That is a cool summer thing to do.. my Crixus is content to sit w/ me outside in the sun, but I've never even thought about the water being something they would enjoy.. your lil' friends look pretty happy to be outside getting some fresh air.. even more amazed that you have 4 beardies and they all get along.. how in the world do you afford all the food they must eat?? Now that is a good beardie parent!! :)

That's really cute ! I love the fountain, I would put it near one of my flowerbeds, but I see that your gang is enjoying it immensely ! I bet they enjoy the sound + motion of the waterfall, and it's a great thing for them to climb on since they love to climb. Hopefully no one will have to go to the little lizard's room and ruin the pool party for everyone. I suppose you keep the top covered so they can't get out.....or you just set with them the entire time ?

I sit with them, or swim in the pool next to them when they are out side. There are 3 girls and 1 boy, the male does chase the girls around a bit, and at first we had a lot of waiving and head bobbing, but not just the male does the dominance thing, and the girls run away from him. He apparently knows he is a male and that he should start things, but is not sure what to do, so not fertile eggs. The girls seem to be over him and his antics, and usually turn their back to him. I have not had any fighting, but am always watching just to make sure, and they all have separate vivs.
As far as feeding goes, 4 of them keep from wasting vegies, and their live feeders, we bread, so after the start up there has been only minimal cost.
The big price comes in vet bills, and multiple lights and such. Time cleaning the vivs is also a pain, but worth it to keep them healthy. The biggest gift I can give to me, is give them all a short bath each morning, to make sure their are no potty messes to clean up. Five min each morning for each dragon, allows me to enjoy them with minimal clean up.
I have a big fish net I drape over the pin, just in case. I would not want a bird to get to them.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
