I second SASH North Ryde as great for emergencies and issues smaller vets aren’t equipped for.
They were willing to attempt a surgery they hadn’t performed before on a bearded dragon for my old man Spike which was successful. (Shout out to Dr Truong from the exotics department and their surgeon Dr Looi who did the proceedure)
They went above and beyond and Spike made a full recovery and it still doing well 8 months on.
I wish we had vets here like that. From my experience most "exotic" vets here are just normal vets that are willing to take a look at them. There some that specialize in reptiles but not most of them.

Update on Kellyville pets. I’ve been able to have more of a look into them in the context of bearded dragons and I personally would only use them to source things like lighting and not actual info about dragon care as after having a look into the sort of care advice they give out some of the advice is actually pretty sketchy nowdays which isn’t great.
They do sell dragons also but with the whole sketchy care info thing I would be cautious sourcing dragons from them without being able to do a thorough check of the dragons for sale and the conditions they’re kept in in person.

I can’t wait to see Dr.Wilson be a big dragon but I try to cherish hard the moments while he still fits in my hand 🦎
It’s been a month since I’ve joined bd.org! It feels like it’s been longer than that, but I’m glad I’m here and apart of this lovely community!
I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
